About Becky
Hello and a warm welcome. My name is Becky and I am an Integrative Counsellor. I offer a compassionate, personalised counselling approach for people experiencing a wide range of issues, to adults and young people of all genders. My aim is to hold a safe, non-judgemental space where you will be listened to with warmth, acceptance and empathy. Enabling you to explore the challenges you are experiencing and help you find your own solutions. I believe that you are the expert in your own life.
I am based out of Ramsey, Cambridgeshire offering both face to face or online sessions
My Counselling Approuch
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use a selection of Counselling theories to bespoke my work to an individuals needs. This means together we can explore the issues you are experiencing in the here and now alongside understanding if they have roots in your past.
Sometimes its challenging finding the right words to express your inner world. When this happens i encourage clients to use resources to express themselves and deepen their understanding of their inner world.
I am not going to judge or provide advice. I will be listening to every clients individual experiences with empathy. There is never any expectation to discuss anything you do not want to, these are your sessions led by you. I offer both short term and long term counselling sessions, these can be face to face or online.
I have completed additional training on meeting the needs of clients with ADHD and Autism and have experience of working with clients with neurodiversity. I am happy to make reasonable adjustments to meet clients sensory or communication needs, as its important you feel at ease in sessions.
Training, Qualifications and Experience
I hold CPCAB level 2, 3 certificates in Counselling and 4 Diploma in Counselling. I also hold CPCAB level 5 Diploma in counselling children and Young People.
Additional trauma training provided by Choices Counselling
I hold enhanced DBS, safeguarding trained for children and vulnerable adults.
I am a member of the BACP
I have completed my Autism informed practitioner training.
Working for Choices Counselling based in Cambridge for 5 years both as a volunteer and Associate counsellor. Working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse on a long term bases.
School counselling experience working with Young People to explore, make sense of their world ,build resilience and understand themselves.
Working For Cambridge Rape Crisis with young people following all forms of sexual violence and and abuse
Private Practice based in Ramsey, face to face and online counselling. Providing counselling for a wide range of issues people face.

What Services Are Offered?
I offer short and long term therapy. this can be done on line or Face to Face in Ramsey.
I work with Adults, children and young people.
I am willing to work in school settings with the Schools permission, however there will be a milage cost. When working in Schools i will abide to their policies along side the BACP Ethical framework.
How to Get Started
To book an appointment either email, Text or phone. Phone messages will be answered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning.
Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday am only. Occasionally I have evening availability. Fees £45.00 for 1 hour sessions, I do have a small number of lower cost sessions available for students, pensioners and lower income households please discuss with me.
The first session is free of charge and is to explore if we both feel I am the right counsellor for you. If I do not have the skills to meet your needs I will signpost you to the correct service.
